We wouldn't be human if we didn't sometimes feel overwhelmed, anxious, angry, impatient or stressed. Whether you're feeling disconnected, are having trouble sleeping, are feeling lost or need to heal; learning to meditate can be life changing.


Through meditation we create a sense of space for our minds.


It is not about stopping our thoughts or thinking of nothing. Instead, by turning our thoughts inwards we can learn to tame our mind, to be more present, and to have more clarity. The effect on ourselves, our relationships and our connection with the world is improved through a regular meditation practice.

I'm Lucy Highton, a Meditation Teacher in Cambridge, trained and certified by The British School of Meditation.
Happy to be offering Learn to Meditate courses, meditation drop-ins and one to one meditation sessions in Cambridge, I also run corporate, workplace and school workshops throughout Cambridgeshire and London.

An end of the week reset. Each week we'll have a gentle breath exercise, a mindful meditation and one other meditation - maybe a visualisation, a contemplation, some gratitude practice - what ever feels right for the week. By letting go of the week that's passed, we relax and restore leaving feeling calmer and lighter.

CALM MORNING
MIDWEEK MEDITATIONS

Start the day in a lighter way.
Before the busyness of work, home-schooling or a day without plans, allow just 30 minutes to create space, calmness and clarity in your mind. A very gentle, relaxing start to your morning and you'll notice the difference in how you approach the day.

LEARN TO MEDITATE JUNE COURSE

Mondays 8, 15, 22 & 29 June 2020
7:00 - 8:30pm  |  £36 for the course

Starting with the basics, including mindful breathing and posture, you'll build your knowledge each week, leaving with a meditation tool kit for life. Each session varies but expect guided visualisations, body scans, gratitude practice and mindful meditations.

There is also some theory as we discuss what meditation is (and isn't), the benefits of meditation, a little on the effect of meditation on our brain & bodies and a few meditation FAQ's. The 90 minutes sessions give time for your questions or thoughts too.

Maximum 8 participants. 

Sit in a quiet place at home, on a chair or cushion, & join on Zoom. 
Suitable for you if you've meditated a little before, or if you're a complete beginner.
Online through Zoom.

ONE TO ONE
MEDITATION PRACTICE

Day and time to suit you
Zoom special offer, from £30 per hour

I tailor the teachings to where you are currently in your life and mind. You may already have experience of meditation, or it may be new to you. I'll start with a short consultation and create a meditation programme to help you become calmer, more focused and reconnect with yourself.
