Join Claire of Calm with Claire and Lucy of White Lotus Meditation for this 90 minute relaxation to enhance your wellbeing.
We'll begin with a short seated meditation designed to help you let go of your week. Claire will then guide a gentle, meditative Yin Yoga session which will be followed by a relaxing, restorative Yoga Nidra experience guided by Lucy.
The workshop is timed so you can flow into an early night, allowing the relaxation to continue.

Suitable for beginners or those with experience of yoga or meditation. The Ying Yoga aspect is not suitable during pregnancy.
A little about Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra...
YIN YOGA is a meditative and mindful gentle yoga practice that focuses on the deeper connective tissues to help release tensions and tightness. Each floor based posture is held for between 3-5 minutes allowing time for the body to soften, release and relax. It is a reflective practice which allows time for insight and noticing how the body feels on a deeper level. The release of tensions held in the connective tissues allows a sense of relaxation which is known to promote better sleep and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
YOGA NIDRA, also known as yogic sleep, is a deeply relaxing and restorative meditation. It doesn't involve body movement, instead you will be laying down on a mat or rug being guided into a deep state of gentle awareness - the place between meditation and deep sleep. An hour of this blissful practice is said to be the equivalent of 4 hours sleep, allowing your body and mind to relax, heal and restore.
